XXVIII Economic Forum
About the Project
On 4-6 September 2018, the XXVIII Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdrój took place. Eleven Zett Productions was the institutional partner of the event, responsible for the preparation of two discussion panels: "Vision of cardiology development in Poland. Innovative treatment and socio-economic determinants" and "Business and medicine: why the hospital must earn?".
The first panel was attended by prof. Paweł Buszman (Chief Executive Officer, American Heart of Poland), Jakub Gierczyński (Health care expert), prof. Piotr Ponikowski (President, Polish Cardiac Society), Radosław Sierpiński (Advisor to the Minister, Ministry of Health) prof. Adam Witkowski (president-elect, Polish Cardiac Society) and prof. Mirosław Wysocki (Member of the Expert Committee, National Institute of Public Health). The moderator of the debate was Iwona Schymalla, Editor-in-Chief of Medexpress.
Experts discussed the demographic situation in Poland, and the current challenges of an aging population. The discussion was devoted to cost-effective cardiology and innovative treatment of heart diseases. The culmination of the panel was the determination of policy solutions for coordinated and comprehensive care of cardiac patients.
The second panel was attended by: prof. Paweł Buszman (Chief Executive Officer, American Heart of Poland), Katarzyna Fortak-Karasińska (Solicitor, Fortak & Karasiński Radcowie Prawni), Michał Kępowicz (Director of Strategic Relations, Philips Poland), Marcin Pakulski (President of the Board, NAFIS), Monika Podziewska (President of the Board, Polish Hospitals) and Alina Wołoszyn (Partner, KPMG Polska). The moderator of the debate was Ewelina Zych-Myłek, CEO in Eleven ZETT Productions.
