The Świętokrzyskie Medical Rescuers’ Rally in Pińczów

Medical rescue teams from the Świętokrzyskie province took part in the Świętokrzyskie Medical Rescuers’ Rally in Pińczów 2016. Spectacular competitions were accompanied by numerous attractions for participants and free tests and cardiological consultations as part of the Day for the Heart with Intercard.
The Świętokrzyskie Medical Rescue and Sanitary Transport Centre in Kielce for the second year running presented how the daily work and struggle of paramedics looks like. Rescue crews were involved all day in numerous events and practical tasks, and also in theoretical knowledge tests.
The rally also involved free cardiology testing and consultations provided by the Intercard Centre for Invasive Cardiology, Angiology and Electrotherapy in Pińczów as part of the Day for the Heart preventive campaign, which was attended by many seniors and families with children.
Participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge in the I can give first aid competition organised by ŚCRMiTS with the support of local government authorities, and watch water rescue demonstrations by of the Kon-Tiki Water Club Association.
A blood donation was also held during the rally and was coordinated by the Regional Blood Centre in Kielce.
