The Round Table for Polish cardiology at Rzeczpospolita
About the Project
A debate was held at the editorial office of the Rzeczpospolita newspaper on December 19, entitled How should comprehensive care in cardiology look like? Proposals and prospects from the point of view of the Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund, the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System, public and non-public providers. The discussion touched upon possible threats to Polish cardiology from January 1, 2017. The participants of the event were: Krzysztof Łanda, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Professor Piotr Hoffman, president of the Polish Cardiac Society, Professor Dariusz Dudek, Head of the II Clinical Department of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Interventions of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, Professor Krystian Wita, Ph.D., from the Upper Silesian Medical Centre, Maciej Miłkowski, Vice-President of the National Health Fund Finance Department, Professor Adam Witkowski, Head of the Department of Cardiology and Interventional Angiology at the Institute of Cardiology in Anin, Dr. Grzegorz Opolski, manager of the I Cardiology Department and Clinic at the Medical University of Warsaw, Dr. Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, Vice-President of the National Health Fund Council, Dr. Paweł Ptaszyński the University Clinical Hospital in Lodz, and attorney Michał Czarnuch from the Domański Zakrzewski Palinka law firm.
Eleven Zett was a co-creator of the debate program, and was responsible for organising and coordinating events and media follow-up of the debate along with social media.
