About the Project
The 17th New Frontiers in Interventional Cardiology (NFIC) international cardiology workshops were held from 7-10 December in Krakow. More than a thousand specialists from around the world summed up cardiology and cardiac surgery in 2016. We learned which new technologies have introduced significant advancements in cardiology and what will be implemented in 2017. Participants were able to observe innovative treatments, the latest innovations, and discuss the most difficult treatments.
The workshops organised in early December are an excellent summary of the world cardiology and cardiac surgery in the past year and the harbinger of new and ground-breaking events in the next year. This features which attract participants are undoubtedly the perfectly tailored program, demonstration treatments broadcast live from Polish and foreign treatment and hybrid rooms, and above all the technological advances in cardiology.
The directors of the workshop are distinguished Polish cardiologists: Professor Dariusz Dudek, Head of the II Clinical Department of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Interventions of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, Professor Jacek Legutko, Assistant Professor at the II Clinic of Cardiology at the Jagiellonian University, Professor Krzysztof Żmudka, Director of the Clinic of Interventional Cardiology at the Jagiellonian University.
This year, NFIC also featured the introduction of the Microsoft HoloLens technology in cardiology. Planning surgery in a hologram by means of augmented reality technology was presented by Professor Dariusz Dudek and representatives of MEDapp S.A.
Eleven Zett was responsible for promoting the entire event, contact with key people, partners and patrons, personal branding, on-site event co-ordination and publications in the media (press, radio, TV, Internet) and on social media, together with photo and video coverage.
