MedApp signed a letter of intent with Warsaw Medical University
About the Project
On August 8, 2018, in the building of the rector’s office of Warsaw Medical University, prof. Krzysztof Filipiak MD, PhD, Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Promotion and Development, and MedApp company representatives, signed a letter of intent. Its aim was to develop the existing cooperation in the field of invasive cardiology and electrophysiology.
This is not the first meeting of MedApp and the Warsaw Medical University. The company already had the opportunity to cooperate with the academic center during the pioneer procedure of ablation of the atrial fibrillation base, which took place last year. Then, for the first time, WUM's operators used the MedApp telemedicine equipment.
According to the assumptions of the cooperation, the students of the Warsaw Medical University will receive innovative telemedicine equipment and start testing it by themselves. On the basis of their comments and recommendations, MedApp will develop the functionality of its products to present a product ready for implementation to full clinical practice.
