About the Project
On March 5, 2019, in Katowice, Eleven ZETT team organized a press conference “Firstly, the quality of the patient’s treatment” devoted to the first Polish accreditation for medical entities performing invasive procedures and operational procedures in accordance with the new ministry standards, done to Polish-American Heart Clinic in Bełchatów.
The XII Cardiology Department of Polish-American Heart Clinics in Bełchatów was the first Polish medical facility receiving a prestigious accreditation certificate confirming compliance with the latest accreditation standards for hospitals performing invasive procedures and surgical procedures. For patients it is certainty that the facility meets the most stringent standards of cardiac patients' treatment in Poland, but also the highest quality of work organization of medical staff and its management.
New accreditation standards for medical entities performing invasive procedures and surgical procedures were announced by the Minister of Health at the end of 2015. They are dedicated to hospitals with less than 50 hospital beds, performing procedures in the one-day mode. PAKS Bełchatów is the first facility in Poland that has passed the assessment of the Quality Monitoring Center inspectors and has received accreditation under the new rules.
