Fight for your heart
About the Project
Patients with myocardial infarction in Poland contact a doctor after an average of 250 minutes, which is slightly more than 4 hours from the first symptoms, of which two hours are a delay due to omission on the part of the patient. The campaign was aimed at shortening this time. Its purpose was to teach the public about the symptoms of heart attacks and to encourage to call an ambulance as soon as possible after they are observed. In the scope of the Fight for your heart campaign, informational billboards appeared in all Polish cities. Five commercials were shot and broadcast on all TV stations and in the Multikino and Cinema City cinemas. A website was created to present a collection of knowledge about heart attacks. The ambassador of the campaign was Krzysztof Stelmaszyk, a well-known actor. The campaign was also present at congresses and medical conferences in Poland and in the world as part of the international initiative Stent for Life.
The coordinators of the campaign were Prof. Maciej Lesiak, Head of the Hemodynamic Department, I Cardiology Clinic in Poznan, and Prof. Dariusz Dudek, Head of the II Clinical Department of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Interventions of the Jagiellonian University Medical College.
Eleven Zett was responsible for comprehensively preparing and conducting the entire campaign.
During the campaign, the company was called MEDall Productions.
