European Economic Congress
About the Project
On May 13-15, the Eleven team participated in the European Economic Congress, one of the most important Polish events devoted to economics. This year, the agency's employees co-organized two sessions on the economic dimension of the health care system. One of the the sessions was "Medicine and economy - numbers, potential, realities" with the participation of prof. Andrzej Bochenek (member of the American Heart of Poland’s Supervisory Board), Sławomir Gadomski (Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Health), Radosław Sierpiński (Acting President of the Medical Research Agency) PhD, Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka PhD (director of the IZWOZ Lazarski University), Szymon Komorowski (Managing Consulting Director, IQVIA in Eastern Europe), Andrzej Mądrala (President of the Board of Employers of the Poland), Anna Rulkiewicz (President of the Board of LUXMED and President of the Board of Private Medicine Employers). The moderator of the session was Wojciech Zawalski, Health care Expert.
The second of the co-organized sessions was "Financing the health care system - the art of spending money", which was run by the deputy editor-in-chief of "Rynek Zdrowia", Piotr Wróbel. The discussion was attended by Bartosz Sadowski (president of the American Heart of Poland), Jakub Adamski (director of the Department of Analysis and Strategy at the Ministry of Health), Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka PhD (director of the IZWOZ Lazarski University), prof. Aldona Frączkiewicz-Wronka (head of the Department of Public Management and Social Sciences of the University of Economics in Katowice), Agnieszka Pachciarz (director of the Wielkopolska branch of the National Health Fund), Klaudia Rogowska (director of the Upper Silesian Medical Center), Anna Rulkiewicz (president of the board of LUXMED and chairwoman of Private Medicine Employers ) and Mariusz Wójtowicz (board member of the Polish Federation of Hospitals and president of the board of the Municipal Hospital in Zabrze).
