1st Świętokrzyskie Cardiology Symposium
About the Project
The Cardiology Symposium of Ostrowiec. What’s new in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery conference was held on 18 November 2016 in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. The event included discussions on new solutions and recommendations for the European Society of Cardiology guidelines for primary care physicians, GPs and cardiologists, as well as opportunities to optimise the health care system to further improve the prognosis of patients with acute coronary syndromes. Great emphasis was placed on progress in the interventional treatment of cardiovascular diseases, which can be attributed to the cooperation of invasive cardiologists and cardiac surgeons.
Other topics included the prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular system and procedures in certain diseases of the heart, such as the treatment of atrial fibrillation and heart failure, as well as the practical aspects of pharmacologic therapy in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions.
The conference featured a presentation of the most interesting cases of patients from cardiac and internal medicine departments in Ostrowiec, Staszów, Opatów and Leipzig treated invasively at the Invasive Cardiology Centre in Ostrowiec. It also touched on the possibilities of cardiology development in the Świętokrzyskie region in the coming years.
Eleven Zett’s task was to prepare press releases, invite journalists to the event and prepare follow-up in the media and social media.
